Razia Express TV's current masterpiece is a show that everyone should watch. It is not like any conventional drama previously aired on Pakistani TV. Although the story might seem like something that we might have seen before, brilliant execution and stand-out performances are what make Razia a masterpiece.

The story is based on a girl growing up in a patriarchal society. It highlights the struggles a girl has to face when she dreams big while living in a society that considers women to be only capable of running households.

It highlights all the battles a woman has to fight in her house as well as in the outside world when she decides to support herself. Whether it be through education or financial stability.

Razia's point of appeal is how the story is presented to us. Razia's story is being told by a narrator who is played by our very own Mahira Khan. Now and then the narrator makes an appearance and becomes the voice of reason. Through the narrator, the writer directly communicates with the audience, questioning them about all the wrongdoings that are being done with Razia. Hinting at the wrongdoings of our society with women.

Mahira Khan has done a tremendous job as the narrator. She communicates with her expressions. There was a dire need for a star like her to tell a story like this. Her presence has brought a certain charm to the show.

Mohib Mirza has done an amazing job as the cruel dominating father. Momal Sheikh has perfectly represented the mother with a regressive mindset that has been moulded by society.

I am all praises for the actors who have played Razia in the episodes. They have hit home with their performances. They have delivered Razia's emotions with perfection so much so that the audience feels what Razia feels.

Another one of my favourite characters from Razia is Mannu, Razia's friend and a character that brings a comic element to the show. All the actors who have played Mannu throughout the episodes have also done a remarkable job.

Lastly, I would like to applaud Razia's director and the creative team for the work that they have done in creating Khuwabnagar. Hard work has been done by the entire team and it has paid off.
